I got on a Harry Potter kick this morning... Not sure why... Anyway, a literal 'thrown together' character. Selena Black, sever relation to Sirius Black, Generation of Hogwarts being the same as Nymphadora and Charlie. Father: Sirius Black (Unknown to him until 1979) Mother: Unknown (most likely a Muggle or half-blood witch) Born: 1973 (puts Sirius at about 14 'in cannon' 17 'in my interpretation', doing things teenage boys love to do) Hair: Black Eyes: rt: Black lt: White; Blasted in the face as a child by her grandmother with a highly dangerous spell, giving her that dead-eye look for the rest of her life. House: Ravenclaw Time at Hogwarts: 1984 - 1991 Only Friends: Ignatius 'Iggy' Phoenixfire (CC), Dora Tonks, Charlie Weasley Level of School Spirit: 0-2 Reason for her appearance, she doesn't believe in limiting one's education to Hogwarts. She travels the world to learn from all manner and school of magic. From the Formalities of Hogwarts to the myths of Voo-doo, Gypsy, and Native American magic. I know she starts off Mary-sue-ish but I am thinking of plotting a HP based game, not really having any of the main characters in there, give or take Dora, Charlie, and some of the Teachers. Now before you leave comments about cannon HP this or contradiction storyline that, I don't care. I like the ideas and main stuff about that world, but I believe some of the characters can be subject to age adjustment.
I dunno about the whole Mary Sue thing, there's a lot of interpretations as to what a Mary Sue is. Personally, I don't think it matters as long as the character has a solid background. And knowing you, the background for a character is more than solid.
Really cool...I love the pose and the outfit, and the amount of detail you put into the backstory/description. I also like Harry Potter...not amazing books, but not bad either, and my favorite character is definitely Sirius Black!

Thanks I wrote more up on it. I'm thinking of throwing it into my scraps later so you and another friend can give it a read. Next up should be Ignatius 'Iggy' Phoenixfire!
